Some referred to him as an educationist while others say he was a Unifier, Comforter, Problem Solver and Voice of the voiceless, but the Women of Koinadugu-Falaba, say he was a philanthropist a legacy they say they want to keep alive.
A group of Women from Koinadugu and Falaba District have come together to form the Allieu Borboh Attire Bangura Foundation in honour of the Late Mr Allieu Borboh Attire Bangura whom they say contributed a lot to the development of both districts particularly in the life of women, youths and children.
It was a moment of tears and sorrows on Sunday 21st May, 2023 as the organization members stormed the residence of the late man and informed the family that, in recognition of the late man’s outstanding contribution to the development of Koinadugu-Falaba District they have formed Allieu Borboh Attire Bangura Foundation to build on the legacy he has left behind.
Upon hearing the news, the late man’s lovely daughter Mrs Zainab Attire Kabba couldn’t hold back as she burst into tears as it came as a surprise to her.
The interim coordinator of the foundation Madam Janet Mansaray told The Informant Media that, they want to pay back the late man by keeping his legacy alive adding that the late Mr Allieu Borboh Attire Bangura was a man with a lion’s heart of given and helping transform the lives of many youths, women and children in both districts.
She said they believed the only way, they could pay him back is to established a foundation in his name that will serve as a charity foundation that would be supporting the less privileged particularly women and children in the twin district pointing out that the late man has so much passion for the less privilege and has always be there to support them of which we want to maintain.
Madam Janet Mansaray asked the late man’s daughter Mrs Zainab Attire Mansaray to be the mother of the organization
In responding on behalf of the family, one of the late man-children Mrs Zainab Attire Kabba welcomes and appreciates the women for recognizing the role and contribution of her father to the development of Koinadugu-Falaba District while assuring them of the family’s approval and support in actualizing their dream.
The wife of the late man Chernor Mrs. Aminata Bangura was very tearful and expressed her utmost thanks and appreciation for keeping her late husband’s legacy alive.
The Allieu Borboh Attire Bangura Foundation as part of their commitment to serving humanity has on Monday 22nd May 2023, donated one thousand Leone (New Leone) or One million Leone (Old Leone) to Koinadugu-Falaba Political Action Committee (K-PAC) Kabala market Water Project at the launch of the project in Kabala.
